February Exhibition: LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!

    I am delighted to be exhibiting as part of a distinguished 10 artist group show celebrating Love. The exhibition is curated by Ben Oakley of the Ben Oakley Gallery, in collaboration with The Bermondsey Gallery.

    December Exhibition: WhatEver 2023 *extended through january 2024*

      I am delighted to be contributing a Phing-Thing to WHATEVER, the Ben Oakley Gallery’s end of year exhibition and charity auction in aid of St Christopher’s Hospice. I will also be exhibiting one of my True Love series concealed image paintings at the gallery.

      September Exhibition: The Light In The Darkness 2023

        In a groundbreaking endeavour to shed light on the pressing issue of mental health, the Solar Collective, Joe Hodway and Mind Mental Health Charity join hands to present an inspiring art exhibition titled “The light in the darkness.” This transformative event aims to bring awareness, empathy, and understanding to the forefront, by showcasing powerful and poignant works of art that delve into the realm of mental health.

        September Exhibition: Erotic Art London 2023

          I am delighted to have six pieces selected for Erotic Art London Exhibition 2023. Erotic Art London is a multidisciplinary festival of erotic themed arts held in London each year. In addition to the artworks on display, there will be live performances and a delectable selection of creative and adult workshops to imerse yourselves in – if you are brave enough!

          July 2023 Exhibition: Anything goes

            I am proud to be exhibiting three paintings in the Capital Art Gallery’s July hang. It will be the first time several of these have been exhibited publicly. There will be drinks and hors d’oeuvres at the opening.

            June 10th – 11th, 2023: Open studio

              Come and meet Joe Hodway at his riverside studio to see how he works, and get a rare glimpse of some work in progress before it is publicly exhibited. Joe and the hundreds of other artists who work at Thames-Side Studios are opening their studios to the public on Saturday June 10th and Sunday June 11th. Entry is free.

              Thames-Side Studios is London’s largest site of purpose built artist and maker studios. It hosts hundreds of creators, including some big art world names. There is a huge selection of work on show, and there will be pieces to please every taste and budget. There are frequently opporties to buy directly from the artists to avoid paying gallery commission.

              April 2023 Exhibition: The Exquisite Exhibition

                I am delighted to be showing a collection of recent works with the Solar Collective at The Exquisite Exhibition in Espacio Gallery in Shoreditch, London. Come and meet the artists, and join us for a drink at the private view on Saturday 22nd April 7pm – 11pm.

                February 2023 Exhibition: LGBT+LIFE

                  I am delighted to have 2 pieces; a painting and a photograph selected for the inaugural LGBT+LIFE exhibition at Brixton Tate Library, London U.K. The exhibition celebrates LGBT+ History Month 2023. The selected painting, True love conquers all (2022) was inspired by a close gay friend, and struck a significant chord with the curators. Come and meet the artists and organisers, and join us for a drink and live performances at the opening on Thursday 2nd February 6pm – 8pm. All are welcome.

                  January 2023 Exhibition: FRAGILE EARTH

                    I am delighted to be exhibiting a new (2023) painting in the Fragile Earth exhibition this month. Come and meet the artists, and join us for a drink at the opening at Two More Years bar in Hackney Wick, London, on Wednesday 18th January 7pm – 10pm. All are welcome.
